3 words.

Vaccinations, Vaccinations, Vaccinations.

Just got back from the beach in Half Moon Bay.  Here about 70% of adults are vaccinated.  The beach was popular and you don't have to wear masks.  But you can if you want.????

I think they will know what their right hands are doing if the massage parlours remain closed ????

What about us "Lefties", then?

Wait for the fourth wave to arrive, despite the vaccines and vaccined.????.  By now…three new infections in Asia every second.

Just reading international news.

Well done yet again, bought 4 air tickets yesterday for staff to fly tomorrow and now yet another change, it was irrational to ease restrictions anyway.

So today 1 dept days yes and tomorrow another says no.

Thailand will struggle to contain this as they have no governing body, but they have many fame seekers.

Read so many conflicting reports.

Are swimming pools to open? Massage but not spas/cosmetic places?

RAZZ

Pool was open in Udon hotel 3 weeks ago after being closed for a week. Pool here in Jomtien Condo was closed for a month, but reopened more than 2 weeks ago. Going to dive in soon. Will be at a hotel in BKK Thursday, but sadly they just informed me their big beautiful pool is still closed. It's ridiculous, as they said the pool area is open for lounging and sunning...just no swimming. Makes zero sense.

Massage open around Pattaya and Jomtien. Had an excellent 2 hour Thai Traditional few days back for B300 discounted price! NICE.

Anyone else disturbed by that big bubble at the tip of the syringe in the photo?

Injection is made in tissue, not a blood vessel, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Well which is it, this article  states easing restrictions,  but the previous article  states its not going to happen.  So which is it.  Its almost comical that a Nees medoa source prints two completely opposite article in the same issue ....

This is very worrying when the government only crack down on certain businesses opening. The report states the epicentre of the most recent outbreak is Bangkok and surrounding area. But the number of people travelling from Bangkok all over the country, spreading lord knows what to the various provinces, just carries on regardless. They really couldn't organise a visit to the toilet for someone with diarrhea.

Here in Pattaya off of Soi Buakow is a place called tree town.  Where food and beverage are served.  One can walk down the soi and see literally hundreds of people in close proximity  just hanging out.  They are eating, but over the course of hours they dont move. Point of order there are as many individuals  hanging out there as there are factory workers who at the moment  perpetuate the virus. Walk over two sois to the beach, which the side walks on beach road too are packed.  But mere meters away a family, two children and a mother, sit near the waters of the ocean, no one is near them they are all alone, unlike the masses on the side walk, or in tree town, but the local bib chase away the family sitting alone enjoying  the sun and water.  How much intelligence goes into implementing real safety  measures and drone like mentality of policy? We all know that the salt water, sunlight, and airflow reduces,if not kills the virus; yet people on the beach are chased away, while the masses gather on the sidewalk, tree town, just to name a few, as they are just as dangerous  as the factories if not worse.

Risky, yes. But what the Thais will never directly admit is that those massages and accompanying sexual services are a HUGE part of the Thai economy.

BS. Tourism as a whole  is only 12% of the Kingdoms GDP and massage parlours is a very small percentage of this.

The Indian variant certainly needs to be taken seriously. Transmission rate is much faster than Covid.01 and will spread like wild fire with poor controls in place to manage it. I'm not sure this mob are going to be up to it. Could be time to bunker down for the onslaught.   ????

The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that Covid 19 variants will be assigned an identification letter. The Indian variant has been lettered 'D' Delta. The good news Zack61 is that you are already Zulu......????

Its all part of the distraction!  Confuse the people enough and they are not sure what to argue about.

So to be safe (lol) they checked his temperature and finding it normal........

Ridiculous.

Doesnt this show that they dont test unless they have to.

Reinforces the view that the numbers are being contained as much as possible by not testing.

Sorry, but I disagree. Regardless of what your masseuse is telling you, it's simply not THAT huge.
