They need to bring in some IT guys from Hong Kong.

ALL the apps and websites there work faultlessly.

Booking (and changing) vaccination appointments (choice of vaccines, hospital or clinic, day, time of day and same for second jab).

Hospital Authority..same

Banks....perfect. Get $hkd1mill at 2.4% all on your smartphone.

Immigration appointments.

Road Authority for licences, car registrations etc.

It's obviously not that hard!

The Blame game has started already according to The Thaiger with public and private Hospitals are postponing appointments due to not recieving enough Vaccines. The blame was finger pointed by the Health minister Anutin blaming the MBA and in retort the BMA blaming Anutin meanwhile the Health Minister has Admitted recieved fewer doses then expected.. The shortfall is affecting the old People with underlying health problems. One BKK Hospital took to social media to point the blame solely lie's saying " If you have any Questions about this ( Postponement ) contact there call Centre or Contact the Public health Minister ie Anutin  ( Directly ) and ask him why this lack of readiness has Occurred."

I registered sometime ago and checked back today.  it said my registration was incomplete. This <deleted> is all messed up. The only way it takes info is if you make up something site really likes. Since I don't want AZ or anything from China it probably is no big deal. I read the info wd submit it now public online.

What an embarrassment to the country.

az is from the UK, I think......the uk sent millions of doses FOR FREE (I understand) then I hear Thailand is going to charge 3800 !!!!!

I do not believe that this registration system (intervac) was meant to do anything other than minimize vaccinations for foreigners, while making it look like they were doing something. I'd say "Shame", but a waste of breath.

I mean...

the original Vimut web-site registration was a simple web-page design

the government registered 8 million people in 50 minutes yesterday for the financial subsidies

3.182 Million people registed for CRA/Sinopharm in just a few days

but registering foreigners, whoa, slow your roll.

I believe 3800 is the announced price for Moderna. AZ here is free so far. I will get mine on the 23rd, if Buddha is around that day.

But as has been said elsewhere, they have all that information anyway. They did not need to do this in order to come knocking on your door!!

Yeah, my bank has it all a thousand times over but still need it again twice when I go  there.

You are utterly incorrect. Astra Zeneca us an Anglo Swedish company that licensed a vaccine developed by Oxford University. The UK has exported zero doses and has insited that until everyone resident in the UK is fully  vaccinated there can be no exports. It has sent nothing here for free. The OAZ vaccine forms the core of the Thai state programme and is administered free of charge. The 3800 baht you refer to is the currently quoted price of the Moderna vaccine that will be available only through defined private hospitals and not through the state programme. As yet there is no confirmed date for private hospitals to acquire Moderna and no appointment registration system.

Looks like the Intervac websites are effectively down today, with new language posted that I'm trying to interpret/understand:

"As a full appointment for vaccination, we will be announcing the new round of appointments for vaccination at http://www.thailandintervac.com. We apologize for all inconvenience."

https://www.thailandintervac.com/

You can't even log-in to the 60+ Intervac website today during the normal post Noon period... And if I'm interpreting the lousy MOPH English above correctly, they seem to be saying, we've run out of appointments and will announce any future openings here in the future.

Actually there is a website to register for the Moderna vaccine with BCH (Bangkok Chain Hospitals) hospitals and several of we expats have registered now.  Of course the vaccine is several months away from being here so there are no scheduled dates yet.  But at least the Registration Confirmation at our Chiang Rai Hospital is comforting.  Here is a screen shot.  And here is the URL I used:

https://www.ksbrhospital.com/WebService/BCH_vaccine?ui=EN

It appears there are 14 hospitals in the BCH system according to the registration form on that website.

11 minutes ago, anyone said:

Are exotic jabs (like Sputnik) still available in private hospitals for 2000-3000 THB or not? Or it just a rumors?

A shady guy will pop from behind a pile of disused seats  before the setting sun on Pattaya Beach and hiss at you, 'Sputnik, Pfizer, Astra Zenica......, Viagra.....?'

But seriously... not heard this, but a few hospitals have given out a few jabs of AZ here and there to foreigners.
