BANGKOK, June 17 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will visit Phuket to inspect its readiness to welcome foreign tourists.

 

Gen Prayut who is also the defence minister will visit the southern province of Phuket on June 25 to inspect the readiness of local officials who will screen foreign visitors at Phuket airport and Ao Po Pier as the province was set to reopen on July 1.

 

The prime minister will also inspect COVID-19 vaccinations at Angsana Laguna Phuket Hotel in Thalang district.

So he'll just be in Laguna, good to see he's getting amongst the people, getting a real feel for their plight, because that's obviously the best place to do it....

Private jet lands, limo to Laguna, big feed, point at some stuff...all good here...leg it back to BKK!

Probably looking for a suitable mansion for his future move when the rest of Thailand is hit with the Wufluland Indian variant and they pull up the drawbridge.

I don’t think he’ll get to see the ‘people lining up for food hand outs’ being given by the good citizens/residents of the island but his assistants may inadvertently line up a photo shoot of the local authorities selling off cheap food parcels to those in need.

with luck they will keep him there for 2 weeks before letting him visit any other part of Thailand.....
