Seafood BBQ Mu Gra Ta Buffet ฿250 or under?

Hi all! I'm looking for a seafood / BBQ / soup buffet for about ฿200. I have found a few, but not quite what I'm looking for. Mainly, I'd like crab and possibly lobster, fish, larger shrimp, different oysters and beef. I know. I'm just being cheap. My bad!

For ฿89. There is a descent buffet "สลาตัน กระทะร้อนThey have razor clams and small sized shrimp, pork, chicken, small selection of vegetables, Som Tam station, fries, pastas and chicken for kids as well as ice cream (Vanilla and coconut) and watermelon for desert. The atmosphere is nice, playing Thai music and you can order "Fancier" drinks from the shop 10 feet away for about ฿40-180. I would recommend going at 5:00ish as later the ice on the food melts and doesn't seem to get replenished. I've only been twice. Maybe they don't even use ice, lol! I really like the table spacing and outdoor seating. 1/3 of the shop is under a metal roof high above and 2/3 is completely uncovered. It made the BBQ smoking issue minimal being outdoor and table spacing far apart.

For ฿99 is the ever so popular "จุ่มโจร 99บาทI say popular, because in the evening it is full pretty much every night I drive by. I have never been but I have been told they do not have seafood. Possibly they have clams and shrimp. Maybe you can verify. The photos show quite an array of meats, vegetables, and deserts. I do see the bumpy squid in one photo. This  shop is pretty much indoor and all the tables seem to be close together. Not my fave, but I'm going to go try soon anyhow.

For ฿249? (Thats what the sign says on google) แบกะดิน 2 Baegathin 2, Moo Gratha is a seafood buffet recommended to me by a friend. The photos show they have quite a bit of seafood selection. I see snails, various clams, beef, larger shrimp, squid, fake crab, vegetables and mushrooms. They have BBQ grill not just the soup pan grill, They seem to have a full menu also with many items I would assume are on the buffet. Again, I am unsure because I have not been there. Maybe you could clarify.

Thanks for the info all! There is light at the end of the tunnel!

89, 99 & 249 baht for a  buffet with shrimps, clams, meat, fresh fruit, ice cream. You might spend the rest of your money on hospital bills.

I like the seafood and vegetables myself. I was simply trying to elaborate on the offerings they had. Thanks though. Nice informative post you have there.

Looking at the prices at the fresh market (uncooked, no service) it seems to me impossible to me to offer any of that for 200B per person - including table, cooking, service.

If anybody offers it for that price then maybe think how they could possibly do that.

Those cheap buffets always seem dirty to me.  Foods look wilted/not fresh and the general service areas seem to always have a smell.  Also, sometimes a bait and switch they list a low price but if you want the good stuff you have to pay extra.

And, you are not going to get fresh lobster and crab for 200 b.

Ninja on 3rd Road near but opposite side of the road to Pattaya Driving Range  used to be 199-299 with a reasonable selection of sea food. Not sure of the current situation.

Ninja is closed due to covid...

It hasn't been open since lockdown 2.0

When it was open the price was 199 (no seafood) 400 (seafood)

OP has unfortunately posted 2 topics looking for rock-bottom pricing.. never going to go over well in these covid-ravaged economies.

Kind of putting the boot in...

It’s only a matter of time before the next one “Short time for under 100 baht” hits the headlines.

There used to be a good one at the bottom of Soi Petrakul. Food was always fresh and a great range too. They changed hands and ended up being as you describe and are now closed and the premises up for rent.

Not correct. The 400 baht price was eliminated and it was just 199 baht for everything.  Great value and I hope to support them when they are open again. I eat generously and tip generously.

The first,  & last time i  ate at a Seafood buffet place in Pattaya was a couple of years ago,  we were ready to leave the Restaurant as they were closing, we watched them put the trays of  seafoods into a cupboard under the serving counter, & according to my wife  get  it back out to re- heat it later... gut problems to follow

My experience at Ninja is much the same. Why the "if only"?

Now price 199 Bt. for shellfish, meat and smaller crustaceans. 399 Bt. for larger crustaceans.

Have a lot seafood: shrimp (alive too), crab, squid, mussels and etc.

Very good service and friendly staff.

Also in this price now include 2 options for cooking: standard hotpot and grill.

Big space and a lot of tables.

Certainly for you, yes.

Anyone who asks politely, maybe.

Visited there once....prefer Ninja on 3rd road. Especially since they scrapped the 400 baht option.

I also have both HotPot and grill at Ninja. Of course another cynical poster might think he knows better.....

It's a great experience. Happy that the food snobs stay away. They prefer not to get involved with their food preparation.
