I see your point but as those laughing ones indeed do indicate a low opinion of the British Government/Embassy, sad really because 30 to 40 years they used to be quite helpful. Now whether that was a result of having a more dominant Ambassador(s) in those times or British policy was different then I have no idea. One time i rang them and they threw the phone up on me and the second time i sent an e-mail Nothing drastic.
