How many are dying now of covid according to Thai stats? 20-50 a day? Geez buy a calculator & use some reason & logic Covid has been in full force in Thailand since 2019 period Agree with you are saying, I was yelling this out ages ago, however with the variants, the spread is multiplied by much more and the deaths will increase to probably around the same as Pneumonia in the next few months I would sadly say with this Delta variant, meaning more spread, more infected, more deaths. Buckle up for the ride and stay safe.

Glad that the TV virologists already know the results Typically, the more rigorous the clinical trial, the less effective Ivermectin is shown to be. It’s really effective when dispensed by a sole practitioner to his preferred patients.

From what I saw from the UK, no matter how perfect someone's hindsight is, it doesn't offer any solutions to the current predicament. Based on what happened in other countries it should not be unreasonable to expect that Thailands case numbers will be in the tens of thousands per day within a few weeks or a month or two, but it really depends on how much testing capacity as to whether we actually see that number and whether that even reflects the reality. I think the time has probably come for people to start asking themselves the difficult questions. Such as, is this country safe for me if the numbers of cases get that high? Do I even have the option to get out of here? Is it realistic to expect a vaccine anytime soon if in a vulnerable category? Lockdowns, no matter how severe, have not really made that much difference in countries where the case numbers are in tens of thousands per day and if Thailand starts appearing on the red list of other countries then it will be increasingly difficult to get a flight out of here. 3

Just a thought. Healthy people don't test positive for Covid, they are still carriers and can infect others. Ergo why Thailand does it their way.

I don’t recall numbers as high as 5k before, other than on two days when prison cases were dumped. And also don’t recall cases of 4K other than the last week. Prior to that I don’t recall cases of 3k for anything other than a couple of weeks. are you seriously saying that cases haven’t been steadily rising, despite the shortfall in testing? And check out the 7 day rolling average chart. See anything there that says cases arent rapidly rising? They went from 2.5k to 3k to 4k very fast. Now this one for 5k. Exponential increase is orders of magnitude...like doubling and doubling again; again we don't see it. The situation is unfortunate but hardly dire...even a mostly vaccinated UK (similar population) is reporting 15k daily cases so 5k in a mostly unvaccinated population isn't so bad. 4

Popular Post anchadian
Opinion: Thailand can no longer tolerate incompetence even if it means wholesale changes No matter what your political persuasion is, if you’re a patriotic Thai then you want the Prayut Chan-ocha government to succeed in its fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Too many of our countrymen have died or are dying, suffered or continue to suffer, for us to wish for a government that can come up with a solution that would guide us out of this mess. But after a year and a half of mismanagement, the reality is that this government is not up to the task. If so, there will be a sharp drop tomorrow. 1
