Just how infectious are asymptomatic people for instance? 0% chance of spreading if you're asymptomatic. Not only WHO source but personal experience from a mate who is asymptomatic. 1 1

Root cause people, root cause!!! Yes, All this is a result of trying to save money. Now the vaccines they are using, Astra and Sinovac aren't very effective against the soon to be dominant Delta and Delta+ variants. Bumbling government ruining this country.

Were these 6 who treated positive really asymptomatic or were they presymptomatic who are infectious one to two days before the onset of symptoms? Only 17% to 20% of people with infections turn out to be asymptomatic. 3

Do you want the police stop working totally not locking up anyone anymore because that is the alternative. Can't really call locking up people enjoying a quiet beer at the beach essential ????

Andycoops Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 As usual it looks like the dumb selfish few could scupper the chance for the majority to have the choice to go out and drink a cold beer in a bar, anytime soon. Punish them by making them all down a bottle of Lao Khao in one go. 1

But aren't there many cases of Covid transmission via schoolchildren, who do catch Covid and mostly are asymptomatic? A quick Google yielded this https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanepe/article/PIIS2666-7762(21)00059-4/fulltext So are you misinformed, or deliberately spreading false and dangerous lies? 2

herfiehandbag Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Worth all the hassle, as it finally gives them the ammunition to claim that foreigners are to blame!

There's a little more to this than saving money, but for those of us living in Thailand we can't talk about it for a very well known reason.
The Hammer2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Which beach? The Raids are nonesense. Outdoor transmission rates are negligible. It's a police reign of terror. Meanwhile on Koh Samet and and Koh Chang life is going on as normal. WHERE ARE THE VACCINES? 1

Koh Chang is far from normal, all bars are closed and resorts have few customers.
Danderman123 Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 We complain there isn't enough testing, but the arrests provoked a decent testing sample of over 120, with an indicated positivity rate of about 5%.
