Thai social media was having a great laugh yesterday after a family posted that there was a great kerfuffle when gran's false teeth went missing.

A search was in order for the missing gnashers but soon it was revealed that the family dog - Samlee (cotton wool) - had laid claim to the dentures.

He looked quite a sight with some canine choppers and a bright set of very human uppers!

Thousands clicked "like" and shared the story, reported Daily News

I don't believe for one minute that the dog managed to get those dentures in his gob so well without any help. If they were mine, my mum's or my gran's they would be out of the dog's mouth in no time and sterilised about 100 times.

Could've been worse if she had a false leg .. you know what dogs and sticks are like ..

This is clearly a hoax story. There is no way these dentures could fit so well into the mutt's mouth. The upper fangs would prevent it. Judging by the pics, the dentures fit in snugly. They either were specially prepared and put into the dog's mouth, or the pics simply have been photoshopped.

More fake garbage on the internet that some people just gobble up without thinking.

Did you hear about the dog who walked into a bar and asked for a large aperitif?

Grammy said every night she dreamed of her long gone husband coming to kiss her.

Probably faked up but still a good laugh
