Thais and expats in Hua Hin have spoken of their frustration at being unable to register with Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin to receive the Moderna vaccine.

Late on Tuesday (July 6) Bangkok Hospital announced that registration for the Moderna vaccine would open on Wednesday (July 7) from 1pm.

The hospital said the Moderna vaccine would cost 1,650 baht per dose and would be administered between October 2021 and March 2022.

Looks like a total hoax/scam. I don't think there were any vaccines to start with. The only certainty is that there is no intention whatsoever to provide vaccines to foreigners living here.

There will be once Hua Hin is thrown open to foreign tourists.

Most foreigners here in Phuket, due to the Sandbox plan, have got their first shot already..........courtesy of the government.

Seems like all pre-ordered vaccines have been booked by now, not that difficult to understand, better that the hospital is honest than people believe they have a vaccine registration, which they in real don't have.

I feel we can all sit back and relax.....Anutin will be all over this like a vaccine rash.

i told my friend about this and he had his Thai friend ready to go just as it opened. sold out in 10 minutes.

better luck next time.

Yes, I read somewhere that 1800 shots were allocated to Hua Hin, enough to vaccinate 900 people and they sold out in 5 minutes.

Maybe it's time to order some more.
