Thailand's 191 police taskforce arrested two men in connection with the distribution of 300 kilos of marijuana.

Police became aware that Phitak, 40, a taxi driver, was driving around distributing the drug to smaller dealers.

He was arrested at the PTT gas station in Sampran, Nakhon Pathom. The drugs were in the boot.

He had been making deliveries to car parks at malls in the Ladprao area of the Thai capital Bangkok.

Also arrested was dealer Phermphol, 35.

Pol Maj-Gen Samran Nuanma of the met police said that Phitak was paid 75,000 baht for each consignment and his accomplice was paid 20,000 baht to pass it on.

Both had served time previously for selling drugs and had been at their latest escapade for a year, reported Daily News.

They were charged with possession and dealing in a Class 5 narcotic.
