Is Pattaya To Ekkamai Bus Operating

Featured Replies

Anyone know f the Pattaya to Ekkamai bus is running?   If so, would you happen to now the schedule?

The Jomtien to Suvarnaphumi bus is not running this month.

i saw a post somewhere that it is running but at a reduced schedule, not the usual every hour or whatever it was before.

Much reduced service. Only five times a day. Scroll down on the Pattaya bus site. Here's the link:

5x a day is still not too bad.

I see if one turns up not long before departure, and the bus is full, you will be sitting around usually for 3 hours.  So get there early I expect.

Indeed.

And (at least in the past) that bus terminal doesn't allow pre-purchase of tickets the day before travel.

This day and age, and given "the situation" one might be wiser to endure the cost of a door-to-door taxi.

I'd do two things; go to the bus station the day before intended travel and ask if it's possible to buy a ticket and if not I'd show up the day of travel early early in the morning and purchase a ticket for later in the day.

They used to only issue tickets for the next available bus. Sometimes the wrong one......

Then they would add more buses.  That's kind of the whole reason there are fewer buses in the first place.

Yes I expect they would, if they had the customers.... but I don't expect they would put one on for one or two passengers. I suspect the timetable will react to supply and demand.
