Popular Post snoop1130
BANGKOK (NNT) - The Prime Minister has called for confidence in the three brands of COVID-19 vaccine being supplied by the government as they are World Health Organization (WHO) approved and widely used. Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha says they were acquired by the government for immunization of the nation against COVID-19. He said that the main AstraZeneca and Sinovac vaccines, as well as the alternative Sinopharm vaccine, were registered by the WHO and Thailand’s own Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) after being reviewed by physicians and epidemiologists for efficacy. The PM added nonetheless that there are plans to bring in mRNA vaccines produced by Pfizer and Moderna, as well as viral vector varieties by Johnson & Johnson. He reiterated that inactivated virus vaccines can also effectively contend with COVID-19 symptoms and reduce the chances of fatality. The PM went on to indicate that Gavi, the World Vaccine Alliance, which counts UNICEF among its members, plans to provide 60 million doses of Sinopharm and 50 million doses of Sinovac vaccines under the COVAX program to impoverished nations. -- © Copyright NNT 2021-07-15 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 1 1

Popular Post Nojohndoe
An attempt to avert panic in the face of the unknown ? Given a public announcement that Sinovac presents zero efficacy against the Delta variant but an unknown/undisclosed retained capacity to prevent serious disease coupled with scant immediate ability to procure alternatives that continue to boast comprehensive efficacy then what now? On an international scale it seems that human nature and the grotesque component of generally selfish naive arrogance in belief in personal value is being demonstrated as explicitly FALSE !

Richard Barrow is reporting that people are walking out rather than take the mix on Samui saying they don't want to be guinea pigs. 8

Popular Post jerrymahoney
Absolutely. Right you are. You win. The question asked however was that Delta one day will take hold in China then we'll see how that country's vaccines cope. The article says how China coped. China is lying and hiding the truth as it always does. Everyone with a little bit of brain knows this. As for Reuters, China has been manipulating foreign media for years now. Look at what happened with their manipulation of the WHO. These silly reports from China are not more believable than the case numbers in Thailand with among the lowest testing rates in the world. 15

Popular Post mtls2005
"calls for confidence" Next step: "orders confidence" Next step: not sure how legally mandating a vaccination, especially of the useless kind, will go over? Strange they haven't fired up the Attitude Adjustment Camps again? If the regime appeared competent, had a plan, was executing on that plan, then a call for confidence would be appropriate. However the regime appears to flailing, with mixed messaging on today's vaccine cocktail special. That the public is confused, and lacks confidence is hardly surprising. Confidence is earned. It is not bestowed. 10

I'd just replace that Sinovac dose for another Astra Zeneca... or maybe both of them for Moderna or Pfizer... or worst case, if I was only allowed to replace one, I'd swap it with J&J...

Isaan sailor
Apparently, the government of Malaysia has no more confidence in Sinovac. They will use up the remaining Chinese vaccines, and switch over to Pfizer for the remainder of the vaccination program. Why do they keep shoving Sinovac into us?
