Where to sell surplus computer parts?

Featured Replies

Thaivisa used to have a classifieds forum, but it has either been removed or is now well hidden, so I can't find it.

In most parts of the world I would turn to ebay, or a local equivalent. Do you have a recommendation for a site?

Thanks,

Peter.

it is going to be facebook. i just don't know where.

Depends how old they are .

I couldn't get a carrot for my 5 year old desktop at Panthip even though i had bought extra ram. Not a sausage was I offered.

Just left it there for free as I was needing the space.

2 x 16 GB DDR4 laptop RAM, bought in April with a low-power desktop mainboard from an online store in Spain, as unavailable here. The board died after 2 weeks and they refunded me, as no longer available. I'm left with the RAM I have no more use for and the shipping and customs fees.

So anybody can sell on Panthip?

Facebook "Marketplace" has a lot of listings and views as does "Bahtsold"   Thai "Craigslist" seems over run by scammers.

which brand and model?

I want 1x 16GB ram but good ones (e.g. Samsung or Micron) are unavailable here, only chinese bullshít.

Or sold at a well above MSRP price.

Could have given it to the Wat or local school?

2 x Crucial 16 GB DDR4 - 2400 SODIMM

Product code CT16G4BFD624A

Used for about 2 weeks.

2200 B each + postage.

Do you want to run this in single channel config, or do you already have one module?

please double check the model name — this one is not listed on Crucial website https://www.crucial.com/catalog/memory  and the only google result is your sale post.

If the model is correct then it could be a chinese fake.

I need a single module because my laptop has only one RAM slot.

You are right. The bold printing on the packet is so bad, even with my magnifying glass I  ould not be sure whether I mistook an S or an 8 for a B. This is the correct number:

But even when I typed the correct code into Crucial's search it did not find it. I had to find the right page myself.

It's right there on the link I posted above:

This actually is a good brand (Crucial == Micron), so I'd like to buy it.

But why the printing is bad? Please send me a private message with the photo of the module and your bank details.
