For the record there is a sign outside taped to the sliding doors!  I was there to be honest I had no idea why the staff was trying to a please the individual I'm not sure anyone ever called the police on Soi 9, but no one show up the manager should have told the individual to take it outside and don't return unless he wears a mask to be serve orders needed to be taken I was lucky to get my order in before it got really heated it never should have gotten that far I'm retired otherwise I would have taken charge now if my 5 supreme Tacos were free it would have been a different outcome for sure.????

I saw the original vid   while he was inside TB  and he was belligerent aggressive threatening to another tourist

I am damn happy that it was reported and he was caught ..  i dont care what money he paid or days in jail

Don't know if it is related to this maybe they don't want anymore problems.

 

Taco Bell policy today Pattaya.  Place your order out front at a desk cannot go inside.  No problem.

But oddly, when the order is completed they will not hand the bag of food to you, no exceptions.  They have several Grab drivers waiting out front.  They hand the bag to a Grab driver, you pay him and he hands it to you.  Add, you have to pay as if it was a Grab delivery I believe it was 30 b extra.

Whether you agree or not about him wearing a mask i don't think a fair scenario has been given of the event. In the video he clearly states that he is not going to fight the man. although states that if he were in his country he would now be six foot under now.

He is obviously aggrieved that the other guy has heckled him about having no mask and is trying to claim that when he hands over his money he has just as much chance of spreading the virus to the other person.

If he had been asked by a member of staff to wear a mask he may of been compliant without any issue.

 It is always hard when someone out of the blue starts heckling you in a harsh manner where upon you will then not comply even if you think they have good/some reason for their actions.

No, I am not having a laugh. In Central Pattaya, where I live, everyone is wearing a mask, including people walking on the street and riding motorcycles. You have to look VERY hard to find anyone without one.... and it has been this way for a very long time.

Anything that hastens their decision to let people go out without masks is wanted. Not that this would do that. I would guess a big reason masks are not required in many parts of the US is exactly because people fought back against it. Does not have to follow the same course in Thailand, but whatever gets them to consider stopping the insanity I am for.

I don't find wearing a mask is a problem. After 16 months it's 2nd nature. I only go out to shop and previously to some restaurants. Also, my wife gets ready to go out much more quickly now and saves a ton on makeup LOL. She'll be sad when the mask regulations end.
