Gateway Mall at Ekamai totally closed, including supermarket

Was heading for the Aeon Maxvalu in Gateway Mall yesterday and was blocked by security guards at the only entrance, on soi 42 side. They pointed to the closure notice: July 30 to Aug. 5. 

 

Gateway Ekamai's FB page confirms they're closed: (Google translation) "to build confidence and safety in providing services to customers
by increasing the surveillance measures to check the infection for all employees . . ."

Yes. Everything was closed for a week except Max Value, but yesterday wife informed me exactly the same. I suspect they found some covid, but are not telling.

 

Also, unlike before there seemed to be a lot less food available. In the last week half of the store looked sold out. A bit scary to be honest.
