When you read their linked mask study they say very little about efficacy of basic cloth masks , just that specialist masks are effective to varying degrees, well, yes, they are but my subject was the 7/11 type masks being shown by detailed full studies( not done by CDC) to have no benefit over no mask.

I see a mask as a precaution against contracting and spreading airborne diseases in an environment where close contact with others is difficult.... unless it is emblazoned with political statements. That is if you have a could or flu, or even COVID, your spittle from a cough or sneeze will stay in your mask and not reach other people. To sway a mask is useless is to show a general ignorance, after this long time that the COVID virus has been among us all. It would be nice if the husband can limit his gambling and take better care of himself and have some money for his future. Geezer
