I am looking for Thai builders that can construct a classic traditional Thai wooden house in Phuket.

 

Most of the companies advertising themselves online are based North of hua hin which adds to the cost from delivery.

 

Attached is a picture with the basic idea. Any help much appreciated!

 

 

consider using an architect to select & manage design & build, as fixed price / paymemts/ scope/ specs / completion.

do you speak Thai?

Looks like that construction is premade concrete columns, you could get a 'crew' to put them in easy enough, they'll use metal rods to make their own rebar for the concrete base, etc

Then you need to find a good carpenter to make the house itself

Loads of out of work folks in Thailand at the moment from the sounds of it, bit of legwork, project manage it yourself, find a cheap wood supplier and that shouldn't cost too much

Go the architect route and he'll take your eyes out for being a farang......probs ????
