The government lost interest when they failed to make a decent amount of money out of enforcing the restrictions. I think Prayut and Anutin have now invested a lot of money in crematorium futures...

And oxygen tanks .

Same reason why 7/11s are packed like a can of sardines?

  • Could be considered essential people do still need to get around.  Just wear 2 masks and a closed full faced helmet should be OK.

Because people need to get around.  You really think taxi's should stop operating ? Mind blowing you can even think and say this.

Pretty essential.

Moto taxis were given priorty along with front line medics. People need a way to get around.

Maybe have the rider turn backwards.

The theoretical covid particles would be dispersed rapidly in open air especially when you’re moving relatively fast.

Covid is only a serious concern if you’re sitting inside with no ventilation for an extended period of time close to other people (IMO)

Not comfortable on a motorbike...then simple, don't take one. Others still need to get around quickly and efficiently, regardless the silly overreactions and rules...and especially regardless of your opinion. ????

Can someone please explain to me why taxi motorbikes are still operating when it is obviously in breach of the social distancing rules

You can sit backwards so you're not facing them if it worries you that much.

Perhaps he doesn't socialise with nutcases. Personally, I certainly try not to do that.

You don't need to use motorbike taxi, you can use a normal taxi instead...????????

I kind of think that was the OP's point...?

I've no idea but I suppose they might be considered essential and at least you're outside and for the most part moving so the virus should get blown away.

O course the other possibility is they're ignoring the rules which is quite common.
