Again, this is not even my opinion, it’s just a hypothesis to explain the India numbers.

My gf had her first shot at Central Plaza Ladprao few days ago (Monday) and that was AZ jp. From Japan.

Another great effort. Aside from weekends, seems they are now able to consistently able to manage over 500,000 doses/ day.

Anutin said the US is donating another 1 million #Pfizer doses, bringing the total donated doses to 2.5 million.

 

The government also ordered another 10 million doses, bringing the total purchased doses to 30 million within the 4th quarter of 2021.

Numbers tend to support your hypothesis. The "normal" stay duration is two weeks so the number of people "out" should be more or less equal to the number of people "in" two weeks ago. On 28 July there were 16,533 cases. It suggests that around 5,000 people have been released early.

Some good news for Phuket. They’ve finally reached their target of having 70% of the population fully vaccinated. This happened 40 days after the opening of the #PhuketSandbox. In that time, only 52 international travellers tested positive out of 19,166 arrivals #Thailand

Doubt what, that they will run out of vaccines?.  Well that is something that we might see, but then we have no idea how many vaccine doses are on hand at this point, and if they are doing 500k a day then that's 2500+ for the week knowing the weekends dip down, and without knowing what's on hand (could be 6 million, could be more, could be less) then that gives them a 2 week window before another 6 million would be needed.  We know it will not be Pfizer except for the small amount donated by the US, as that order, the one Anutin made is who knows where, so its more Sinovac, Sinopharm and who knows how much AZ as the numbers have been scarce on those for awhile.
