Popular Post webfact
File photo: National News Bureau of Thailand (NNT) Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has reaffirmed that all expats in Thailand will soon be able to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Mr Anutin said that expats have been receiving vaccines at a number of vaccination centres in Bangkok with great success. He said that over 300,000 expats had received jabs at the vaccination centres located at MedPark, the vaccination centre at the Bang Sue Grand Station, as well as at Vimut and Bangrak hospitals. But now the rollout of the vaccine will be accelerated so expats living in other parts of Thailand can also receive a jab. Mr Anutin said that the Ministry of Public Health and Department of Consular Affairs have been working hard to liaise with foreingn embassies in Thailand so that all expats are able to receive the vaccine. The news comes as the Ministry of Public on Friday (Aug 20) announced that it signed a contract with Pfizer to purchase an additional 10 million doses of the vaccine. A total of 30 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be available by Q4 this year. Popular Post 4MyEgo
So all this deflection, meaning he has been waiting on the 12 million additional Sinovac vaccinations to arrive to give to "dirty farangs" and when the farangs find out and ask the pretty nurses, where is Pfizer, the reply will be no have. This clowns comments remind me of when you loan money to someone, they keep making up BS excuses and always avoid you. 10 1

At first, there are not living 300 000 expats in Thailand. It is between 150 000 - 200 000 expats living in Thailand. Where does this man get his numbers from? Migrant workers are not to be considered as expats. A man with his presumed education should know the difference. 2 hours ago, webfact said: Mr Anutin said that the Ministry of Public Health and Department of Consular Affairs have been working hard to liaise with foreingn embassies in Thailand so that all expats are able to receive the vaccine. Never heard that one before. All i can say is that circus and clowns comes to mind. If you rather like zoo, think monkey. 6 2 1
Popular Post Havenstreet1940
Where there's life there's hope! Having read yeterday that the vaccine rollout was in first gear, I decided to do the rounds in KK to see if my luck had changed. And yes it has - no longer am I told 'falang must wait' instead I was overjoyed to know that it will be 'soon'. I asked what 'soon' meant and was told 'soon'. To be honest I was offered Sinovac, but as it is my plan to go to the UK within the next 6 months, I declined as my family tell me I wil not be allowed into many places (Restaurants, pubs, cinemas etc) if I do not have a UK recognised vaccination. AZThailand will be acceptable I am told and the liklihood of this being confirmed shortly is re-assuring. MrNA vaccines are also medically a no-no for me. Popular Post mikebell
Anutin's exact words were, 'all dirty farangs will get jabbed, as soon as every Thai has had the useless Chinese vacs that I bought to enhance my pension pot.' 7

Well in numbers Soon in Thai is zero. So expats have zero chance if A Nut In has any say in it. I think he is meaning 300,00 foreigners instead of expats ie the labourers from the neighbouring countries, the Chinese dosed by their own government initiative, the French etc. Makes it all sound very positive. His next posting will be TAT and he is getting in practice with his rubbery numbers. Cheers
