Popular Post Doctor Tom
'Hurt China's good will', that must be some kind of joke. They are megalomaniac, criminals with no good will, wanting only domination, control and power over other Nations , which Thailand is falling over themselves to give.

Didn't these Chinese vaccines cost Thailand 3 times as much as the other vaccines? And they talk about goodwill. What a joke! No, they don't. They do cost a lot more than the AZ vaccine. Currently, at least twice as much.Earlier as much as 5-6 times as much. Which certainly raises questions as to why Thailand initially ordered so little of the AZ vaccine. 1

Just go to a Chinese supermarket; pickpockets everywhere. And don't leave your apartment unattended for 5 weeks; they will empty it all out! If you buy anything in/from China you'll realise how easily it breaks. But one thing they are good at: nationalism!

That's true but that doesn't mean that the Chinese govt created Alibaba, Tencent, etc. And it doesn't mean that the Chinese govt had a hand in the actual creation of Sinovac but they were certainly unforgivably lax in approving it before the full results of Phase 3 trials were published. Even to date, only a preliminary report on the results of those trials has been published.
Popular Post ThaIrish Sean
A thinly veiled threat to Thailand. China bullying ASEAN members again. If it isn't the South China sea it's business and now vaccine reputation ???? Do they forget who unleashed this pandemic and all the heartache that went to it upon the world? They should be asking us for forgiveness and I for one would not forgive them. 4

China, do something to earn some goodwill. You want credibility on the world stage? Start behaving like a responsible nation. Stop behaving in a ridiculous manner, and like that of a bully, in the South China Sea. It has been centuries since a nation insisted it's territorial waters extended a thousand miles or more, from it's border. We would refer to that as self applied egg on the face. OK? When you develop a vaccine intended for world consumption, try a little harder. Thy to obtain an efficacy rate that rivals the others, and is not at the bottom of the list. It just reinforces the notion that Chinese made goods are of inferior quality. Stop the harvesting of organs from political prisoners. Many practitioners have reported that, while they were in China’s extensive network of detention centres and forced labour camps, they were tortured. Evidence indicates that Falun Gong practitioners, Uyghur Muslims, Tibetans and other prisoners have been further subject to forced live organ harvesting. https://www.healtheuropa.eu/forced-organ-harvesting-one-of-the-worst-mass-atrocities-of-this-century/97035/ Stop locking up those who are different from the masses, such as the Falun Gong disciples, and the Uyghur Muslims. Behaving like a civilized nation might earn you some respect. Couldn't have said it better myself. I agree with each point. Chinese citizens needs to understand this too then they might understand why not everyone in the world loves the Chinese government as much as they do and why the world questions the Chinese government as much as they do

You got me scratching my head on this one. I am merely offering the opinion that China did not act out of 'goodwill' but was purely motivated by profit. If you think otherwise you are entitled to that opinion.
DBath
“China says criticisms of vaccine hurt its goodwill” OH…BOO- HOO!!! It’s more a matter of China’s collective underhandedness, their sneakiness and their self-proclaimed cleverness that have hurt them. Stealing intellectual capital the world over and bullying smaller countries (and not just in Asia), unleashing covid and trying to deny it and further not giving full disclosure, their dealings with Hong Kong, Taiwan and SCS…all this is just the tip of the iceberg. I SAY, BOO-HOO CHINA!!!…don’t let those big tears fall in your porridge.

China may be the country that the virus was first detected but they can’t be accountable for the malfeasance of respective government in US, Brazil and India that have record infections and deaths. Perhaps we can also blame these countries of bad policies that allow the original virus to mutate and spread round the world.
