Police station in Chiang Mai province declared control zone after Covid-19 cluster emerges

Thai media reported that the Covid-19 situation chief in Saraphi district of Chiang Mai Leryot Phuttachinorasakul had declared the Sarapee police station a control zone after three officers there tested positive for Covid.

 

Members of the public have been asked to avoid the police station unless absolutely necessary until October 5th.

 

Around 100 workers at the station are at risk of infection and in quarantine.

 

This includes the investigative branch and regular and traffic police as well as canteen workers and administrative staff.
