Because of poor timing my mom has fallen ill back in USA and I have to leave quick and because of timing my current visa non-o (marriage) will expire before renewal.  Has there been any changes to obtaining a new non-o visa from stateside with the new  E-Thaivisa application?? I aware that I need a set amount of funds in my USA bank account as well as $100,000 usd covid19 insurance for the 90 days on return anything else?  Thank you

There is no big difference between the old requirements and when using the e visa website. You will only need $700 (20k baht) in a bank account.

But a change starting on Monday means you will get a stickerless visa that they will email to you. No need to mail anything to the embassy or one of the 3 official consulates you will do it to.

You will need the covid 19 insurance when you apply for the certificate of entry (COE). What else you need is dependent upon when your return since it is all up in the air at this time.
