I am seeing a bunch of people on these electric scooters lately. Where can you get one (Pattaya)? How much? And do you need a drivers license? Thanks!

Perhaps the authorities haven't thought about it yet, but my thoughts are, if you want to be put in a box early in life, buy one...????

Are you planning on driving it on the road or the pavement/sidewalk?

And be careful when riding, that you don't tip off it. 555

If it's for footpath use, he will spend more time carrying it...????

Advertise to buy one on a Facebook Pattaya group and probably you'll get a few people trying to get rid.

Looks dangerous to me with the potholes, uneven drains, sand and lumps in the road, better getting a scooter

No DL needed,  there's a quite a few in New  Sukhothai people drive in,  park up and scoot about on road shopping at about running pace.

Seen some in bicycle shops and can buy on-line Lazada for one.

Don't know price but cheap enough I  guess.

I bought that exact model on Lazada for my 10 year old son for Christmas. 6,000 baht or there about.

He loved his kick scooter and this electric was fun for about a week and it has since sat unused.

We would go to the park bicycle land and he would ride and I would cycle.

A bicycle has your attention, the scooter you just stand on

The thing is it is boring, I've used it to go to 7/11 and you just stand on it and press a button.

It has a top speed of 13km per hour and the charge lasts very long.

After the novelty wears off their not much fun at all.

Used on bike lanes mostly, road to 7/11 a couple of times and now it sits.
