So the zero quarantine proposed Nov 1st does in fact mean NO SHA hotel required

would it not be prudent to tell people 4 weeks in advance

You would have to be a mug to book that now when they want to relax it even more on the 1st November. Bet all the people who have paid for the 3 PCR test in advance and 14 days hotel stays are unhappy campers. In Thailand, the word refund is untranslatable.

I arrive on the 3rd and have been offered a refund for the 3rd PCR and the 7 days difference in accomodation.

Exactly, that was a requirement to be part of the programme. Some people just love to post without any knowledge of the issue.

I have declined the accomodation refund as I want to stay in Phuket for the full 14 days before returning home to Udon.

Not sure if a negative PCR test will be required before travelling up to Udon so as of yet I am still going to have the 3rd test but am able to have that refunded if under the new rules it is not needed.

The entire SHA+ procedure has been utter rubbish and completely useless from the very 1st moment.

Me too. Cant be arsed to change/ cancel and rebook flights etc. Thaismile website has a chart showing that testing before arrival is not required for Udon.

So how do you get the refund for the 3rd test?

I booked an all jnclusive package and they have contacted me already concerning the rule changes and refund.

I will be traveling abroad with my Thai girlfriend. If we come back to Thailand via the Phuket Sandbox, can we share a SHA+ hotel room, or do we have to stay in 2 rooms?
