Do any one of you guys know how long time in beforehand you can  apply for COE at the embassy..

Friend leaving Sweden 19 november. Is it way too early now, and when is it suitable to apply in order not to end up in trouble timewise.

Assuming you only need a CoE and already have a visa, I'd say apply 2-3 weeks in advance to be safe but in reality many get their CoE in a few days after applying.

 

Edit: Here's a recent thread on the same subject;

 

The advisable maximum is 20 days before arrival.

This is from the "date of travel" section of the COE application (I know it says sandbox but I was applying for Bangkok ASQ)

 

Travellers to the Sandbox Programme can apply for COE within 30 days before the arrival date in Thailand.
