Legit company. I think the main issue is the costs within Thailand (import duties when applicable) negating any perceived savings based on list price. If they are the only source of the product go for it.

I asked twice about shipping and duties and did not receive and answer.

It's a Total Gym for $350, supposedly ships from the US, and arrives in about 10 days.

Seems pretty quick...but sounds like it'll end up costing twice that much.

I'll guarantee you it will ! Hate to think what the shipping would be based on potential weight etc.Still, might be an early bonus for the Customs dept. ????

Says here that you can pay all duties up front and that Ubuy will pay the difference if the duties are higher than they calculate.

I expect you will not get to see the exact cost until just before you confirm the order.

Yeah, saw that, but still nothing about shipping costs....that could be a killer.

Maybe I'll take it to the order stage and see if it shows up.

That doesn't bode well from a customer service perspective. Just had a look and they avoid even giving you an estimate at checkout.

No idea how accurate but:

Yeah, double....

Thanks, man.

No worries. I take it you've already checked Lazada and Shoppee for cheap knock offs. Or maybe pop into a gym (if open?) see if they can point you in the direction of a decent supplier.

Tried all that. Actually surprised as it's a popular piece of equipment.

Item cost 350 plus shipping 240 = $590

590 x 33.4 = 19,706 Baht x 30% duty = 5912

Value + duty =  25,618

25,618 @ 7 % = 1,793

25,618 + 1793 = 27,415

= $820

Maybe  a days storage charge at customs plus 200 baht admin fee, then courier may charge extra for in country delivery.
