How to get 10 year visa for Thailand

Of course, Thailand Elite might come to their senses at any time, and either withdraw the upgrade option entirely, or at least raise the upgrade cost. The current situation makes no sense (except for the well informed applicant).

Yep, it makes no sense to shell out the 1 Million upfront when you can pay 600K now & the other 400K in 5 years AND get 5 years of additional perks (airport transfers etc...).

  • Not sure what visa he got for 500k baht. It could be a 5 year Thai Elite visa he got before the increased the cost to 600k baht. Info for the Thai Elite visas is here. https://www.thailandelite.c

  • Marry an Immigration officer - preferably a senior one as many threads say they can overrule anything.... ????

  • Non O-X.  Buy a PE instead.   "In any case, is there a way to get 10 year visa for Thailand so I dont have to worry about visas for a while?"   I don't worry about visas. This

O/X visa might be another option instead of a EV, if available in your country.

You get 5 years on it and can extend another 5 years. 3 million THB required i a Thai bank.

He is nto over age 50 so not an option for him

That's the difference between the Easy Access and Superiority extension - the 'perks'.

There's very little in the way of perks with the superiority extension, for example, there's no more airport transfers with it.

You're trading in at least a full years worth of perks to swap over to this visa type. If you want to keep the same perks you get with the Easy Access visa then you need to upgrade to the full 2 Million Baht membership with the yearly fee.

So there is a tradeoff here.

I also noticed that there's a list of special services available to Easy Access members on the official website and it's changed at some point - it no longer lists Limo transfers as a benefit on the 5 year membership

Easy Access (5 year membership) perks :

Ultimate membership - the 2 Million Baht option

Agreed, but if you were planning on going down the 20 year 1 million THB route anyway, paying 600K, getting 4 years of perks & then paying the extra 400K is better than paying the whole 1 Million upfront & not getting any perks.
