1st 90 day report............

Featured Replies

At the 1st 90 day report of an O Retirement extension, is there any check on the financial requirement for 800k thb to be maintained in the bank for the 1st 3 months please? Also what is required beyond the TM47 form please?

There is no written requirement to prove the 800k baht has been in the bank for 3 months. But some odd  offices will want you to return after 3 months with a copy of your updated bank book showing it is still in the bank.

At most offices the only thing you will need to do your 90 day report is a completed TM47 form.

I am not 100% sure if that this ok for the FIRST 90 day reporting ...

Nope.....I understand that the 1st must be in person or by mail.

Is it still the case that you can make the report 14 days before or 7 days after the date shown in the passport?

May be just try ? They change the rules often , and it does not cost anything ...

If you were required by your immigration office to do anything at 3 months they would have told you.  Some require it, some don't.

That's correct for in person.

For online it's 14 before and up to due date.

Mail is 14 days prior for CW.

Other offices vary.

It would be easy if folk would state which imm office they deal with.

The 3 month check money is only Jomtien and couple of others.

The rest (approx 75 other offices do it correctly) no check.

Online, it used to be 14 days to 7 days prior.

Maybe this has changed?

Was changed not that long ago now it's up to due date.

It was changed early last year.

Noted, thanks.

It's so quick to do it in person in CM that I haven't actually tried online for some time.

Yes for some the in person is no big deal.

I would need to visit MTT and that's no picnic.

As much as online is obviously easy, for me there has been too many issues.

I have mail option down pat now and CW returns all your photocopies and new TM47.

Will check out the whiz bang new improved online system down the track.

This year the Ratchaburi office asked to bring in another bank statement on my next 90 day report.  Which was about a month after my extension.

Yes Ratchaburi is another office playing this game along with Jomtien.

Side matter but showing a bank book after one month of extension proves zilch since the requirement is to maintain 800k for 3 months after Extension.
