Unfortunate iPhone7

Featured Replies

A friend sent me an iPhone7 to use, but the phone function does not send nor receive phone calls. It would cost me 11,000B to have it fixed by Apple. Anybody here in Chaing Mai know how to fix it?

If not, how can I send it back to UK without going through DSL which is outrageously expensive. The post office does not want to take responsibility for smart phones.

Depends on what it needs.  I have had good luck with a guy who fixes Apple stuff.  His shop is in the Star Avenue #1 place behind the main bus station and fronting the Super Highway.   His place is near the South West corner.  If you face Subway with Mac Donalds on your right, his place will be on the left, not the back but maybe second from the back.  Much less expensive than Apple.

Perhaps something to do with CDMA or GSM compatibility and unlocking. 11,000b to get it working seems like a waste of money, better spent on purchasing a newer model that works here.

Yes, could be locked.

CMMobile Fix in old town has done a great job for me with my IPhone. 11,000 baht doesn’t sound legit to me.
