Shipping A Motorbike Within Thailand

Featured Replies

We want to ship a 110cc scooter from Pattaya to Sakon Nakhon.  We like the bike and it is worth more to us than we could get selling it.  I googled the following old article and the price seems reasonable.

Has anyone here shipped a bike within Thailand?

Anyone have any suggestions as to who provides this service other than the post office.

We are not concerned with speed of delivery and as it is an old used bike we're not too concerned with the quality of the transport service.

In order to ship by post you need to prove ownership, the book which has your name in it.

We have done it before and it was around 1500 baht and it took 3 days from cha-am to the north.

I know a guy who did pretty sure with post office BKK Issan  (Nong Khai ish) seemed to work flawlessly

Why "other than the post office"?

Poor wording on  my part.  The Post Office is fine and am interested in hearing all details about Post Office shipping as well as other alternatives.
