Thai media 77kaoded reported that the Cha-Am police chief Pol Col Wayuphak Wongsakdirin personally led a team of police to a "wua lan" or cow rodeo event in the area last night.

The officers mobilized at Wat Nong Kham in Huay Sai Neua were on the lookout for drugs and illegal weapons as part of a New Year crime crackdown.
