Rising to No. 18 from No. 26 is Michelle by David & Jonathan.

Thanks. I'd forgotten what a God-awful copy this was.

John Lawton (d. June 29, 2021), cringeworthy lead singer with Lucifer's Friend, Uriah Heep and Les Humphries Singers.  Lucifer's Friend with Lucifer's Friend off of the '70 Lucifer's Friend album.  To each their own but I have to gnash my teeth when I hear his vocals.

Changes to the Billboard Top 100 [25] for the week of Feb. 13~19, 1966.

A meteoric rise to the No. 10 slot from way down yonder at No. 51 is The Ballad Of The Green Berets by SSgt Barry Sadler, who wanted to provide a counter to the plethora of Vietnam protest tunes.
