Naew Na reported on the actions of Hat Yai  vehicle theft police in the south of Thailand after a motorcycle was stolen.

Rental apartment manager Apichart Jaito, 38, from Phatthalung was nabbed on Soi 10 Saphan Dam, Klong Hae in the southern Thai city.

He'd stolen a Honda Sonic and gone to work on it.

But things got worse for hapless Apichart.

It was discovered that he had been stealing from people in the apartments with spare keys. He targeted residents who were away for long periods.

He stole electrical items like a TV and skillet and pawned them.

Fancy ladies bags and cosmetics had a different destination - he gave those to his girlfriend as presents.

Apichart told investigators he used the money he got to pay for his Ya Ba (meth amphetamine mixed with caffeine) habit.

Tests at a local hospital showed that the suspect was positive for drug use.

Had something similar happen to a pal in a place he rented. The lady manager / owner (not sure what she was) had a wayward son living with her on and off, and he just picked up the master keys and went looking what he could get his hands on. Happened multiple times and she would not prevent him.....

Don't trust safes too, they have pass codes or keys.

Destined to be caught sooner or later.

When we where renting years ago we had New Locks put in .

No such thing as Master keys .

People aren't smart enough .Ask first  Before Renting if  the Manager allows one to change Locks ,If Not .Don't Rent There' s something Wrong there.
