Senior Thai doctor says COVID-19 could lead to long-term side effects

A senior doctor at the Faculty of Medicine of Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University has advised that it is better to protect oneself from COVID-19 infection due to the possible long-term side effects of the disease, even if they are not hospitalised.

Thai genomics centre predicts COVID-19 will become endemic in the near future

The Centre for Medical Genomics, at the Faculty of Medicine of Ramathibodi Hospital, reported today (Monday) that Thailand is approaching the “end game” of the COVID-19 pandemic, with “a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel”, as COVID-19 becomes an endemic disease and Omicron the dominant strain.

Education inequality – The state school teachers’ dilemma

At 332.4 billion baht, for yet another year Thailand’s Ministry of Education has received the largest budget of any ministry. In 2021, this major agency received budget just under 358.4 billion baht. The enormous amount of money pouring into the country’s education system has produced disappointing results.

High level of air pollution found in 11 areas in and around Bangkok on Monday
