Health Ministry proposes purchase of 22 mln Pfizer vaccine doses for kids aged 5-11

The Health Ministry has proposed that 21.9 million Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine doses be purchased to inoculate children aged 5-11.

 

The proposal was made at a Thursday meeting, where the ministry noted that there were around 11 million children aged 5-11 who need to be vaccinated.

 

The government is considering the proposal.
