Police in Pathum Thani arrested a 33 year old man called Panya Uamthongbua or "Jae" on a Thanyaburi arrest warrant for abduction and rape of a university student.

The suspect who admitted the crime was taken into custody beside a klong in Soi Wat Bua Kadee at 5.30 pm yesterday.

This followed a complaint made to the Paveena Hongsakul foundation by a 20 year old first year undergraduate named only as Koi.

In the Klong Aen area of Lam Lukka behind Wat Don Yai the suspect drove his pick-up in front of the young lady who was on a motorcycle causing her to have to stop.

He then forcibly bundled her into his vehicle, took her home and raped her.

She was then taken to another area and left.

Her phopne was taken and thrown in a canal.

Pol Maj-Gen Priyaphol Saensen, the Pathum Thani provincial police chief, warned ladies out at night to be careful.

He told them not to go to risky areas, to travel in groups and always call friends or realtives to say where they might be going.

Thai Rath quoted the suspect as saying it was a spur of the moment attack.

Surely the danger is over now he's been arrested?

Unless of course he's out on bail.....

You cannot undo the damage of rapists, pedophiles and drug dealers. What you can do is to rid society of such manure once and for good. Put 'em up against the wall and blow out their candles.
It might, in one or the other case, put the sufferers nightmares, fears and anxiety to rest while it likewise saves millions of tax payers money.

But, as the dirty farang in Western societies prove, now is the time of tree huggers, do-gooders and we-love-you-all daydreamers, irrespective of gender, vegetarian orientation or lactose- or gluten intolerant wannabe sufferers. Just waiting for the next level of society disintegration, in whichever form it my appear anytime soon.

Good gracious me that I am no longer a teenager .......

They are just following the regular tradition here of action, 'closing the stable door after the horse has bolted'..... I await some politician telling young female students how not to dress now.
