webfact Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said Thursday that he will not dissolve the House or reshuffle his cabinet, but will carry on working and is ready to face the Opposition in the general debate scheduled for February 17th and 18th. In his first interview with reporters at Government House since his return from a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, the prime minister also confirmed that the Bangkok gubernatorial election will be held in May, noting that preparations for the poll are the responsibility of the Ministry of Interior and the Election Commission. Dissolve parliament; God no, you can't predict what large numbers of people will do, let alone how they will vote. Want to keep job. Reshuffle Cabinet; God no. Want to keep job, upsetting the enforcers makes this difficult, you never know how they will vote.
ezzra Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 And why should he? it's good to be the PM where no one really dare to mount an opposition to you, so looks likes he glued himself to his seat for the foreseeable future...
