Almost no policy does. Including none of the Thai issued policies.

 

OP you can use any 8nsurance company tou like, based anywhere, as long as coverage is at least US $50,000 and includes COVID.

None of the insurance policies are worth anything unless you are unlucky enough to need ICU...

 

Treat it as Thailand 10,000 baht scam entry fee requiring mandatory insurance and day 1 and 5 test & Go quarantine with PCR's

Agree. But the real worry is testing positive and being asymptomatic and then being at the mercy of the hospital and their over the top charges. Insurance no longer covers these cases.

 

With other more enlightened countries moving on and having common sense entry requirements it is time for the government to wake up and to have entry requirements based on common sense.

That is not the case. But you do need to have a medical indication for hospitalization.
