North Korea Offers Russia 100,000 ‘Volunteers’ for War on Ukraine, Russian State TV Says

North Korea has offered Russia 100,000 “volunteers” to aid in the war against Ukraine, according to Russian state TV.

“There are reports that 100,000 North Korean volunteers are prepared to come and take part in the conflict,” talk show host Igor Korotchenko said on Russian Channel One, the New York Post reported.

The reports come as Russia’s military force is depleted after its unsuccessful attempt to take key parts of Ukraine, including the capital of Kyiv.

Known by many as Russian President Vladimir Putin's "she-wolf," Olga Kachura, 52, was killed when a Ukrainian missile hit her car as she was driving in the city of Horlivka, in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, according to Margarita Simonyan, the pro-Kremlin editor of RT.

She sounds like a nasty piece of work. Don’t think many Ukrainians will shed a tear for her untimely demise. On the contrary, I think they’ve been actively hunting her and they will probably be quite pleased they finally managed to take her out. Well done.

The Insider reported on August 5 that a source claimed Russian forces mined the turbine room of energy block 1 of the NPP around August 2.[6] A separate source claimed that about 500 Russian soldiers, as well as armored personnel carriers and anti-aircraft guns, were stationed within the plant and that Russian forces mined the area around the plant.

Ukraine war: Four more grain ships leave Ukraine as hopes grow for export stability

Four more ships carrying grain and sunflower oil have left Ukraine ports via a safe maritime corridor.

Millions of tonnes of grain have been stuck in Ukraine due to Russian blockades, leading to shortages and higher food prices in other countries.

But last week the first ship left Ukraine's ports since February.

The latest ships to set sail are bound for Turkey where they'll be inspected as part of a deal reached with Russia and the United Nations.

The Biden administration announced another $1 billion in new military aid for Ukraine on Monday, pledging what will be the biggest yet delivery of rockets, ammunition and other arms straight from Department of Defense stocks for Ukrainian forces.

The U.S. pledge of a massive new shipment of arms comes as analysts warned that Russia was moving troops and equipment in the direction of the southern port cities to stave off a Ukrainian counteroffensive.

The aid includes additional rockets for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, or HIMARS, as well as thousands of artillery rounds, mortar systems, Javelins and other ammunition and equipment.

Russia Is Now Openly Threatening to Bomb a Nuclear Power Plant

Russia has threatened that it is prepared to blow up Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine, in the latest indication that Russia’s war in Ukraine could be headed towards a nuclear disaster.

The head of Russia's Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops nuclear power plant, Major General Valery Vasiliev, claimed that Russians had mined the nuclear power plant, according to Energoatam, a Ukrainian state nuclear agency.

“There will be either Russian land or a scorched desert,” Vasiliev said, according to Energoatam.

Sanctions imposed on Russia after it sent its troops into Ukraine in late February have prevented its airlines from obtaining spare parts or undergoing maintenance in the West.

Very good news,i saw a video of Russian tourists who were at the beach and suddenly in the back ground huge clouds of smoke and explosions happen.

Depending on where the missile, if that's what it was, was fired from, possibly Sevastopol might be in reach, too. They're only 95 kilometers apart.

I tried linking to google maps but for some reason google is not allowing it. So to see where the explosions took place just look up Novofedorivka Crimea on Google Maps

It turns out it may not have been a missile at all. But partisans. Or maybe something else. Which has its plusses and minuses. And which also raised the important question of why does "plus" demand a doubling of the "s" in the plural form and "minus" not?

Those 100 000 north korean soldiers is never going to happen,never.

They will all defect to the Ukraine the moment they will see a Soldier from there.

I never liked or had any sympathy for the guy, he was a bad actor and deciding to get friends with Putin got him to the lowest ranking possible, he's a nobody and whatever he says it's of no interest to anybody
