Search operations for missing Thai TV star Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong, who fell from a speedboat into the Chao Phraya River on Thursday night, continue this morning (Saturday) after over 33 hours.

The operation resumed at 6.30am with rescue teams searchingthe surface of the water, from Phra Nangklao Bridge to Somdet Phra Pinklao Bridge.

Last night, rescue divers suspended their search at 9pm because conditions were becoming too dangerous. This afternoon, rescue teams will assess weather conditions and water currents on the river. They say they hope to be able to find the missing TV star today, because the currents are expected to be weak and there are no express boats using the river, which will make it easier for rescuers to work.

Easy to understand why they had to search such a large area of the river. Its 8 km north  from Rama 7 bridge to Phra Nang Klao bridge. I was at a restaurant just 1 km north of the Nonthaburi bridge and at 21:00 the tide from Gulf of Thailand counteracts the Chao Phraya flow that turns the river into a millpond. All the speedboats and jetskis from the marina next to the restaurant use this tidal current to maximum gain and it makes the speeding  cars on the roads in Thailand look like a funeral procession in comparison.

There was a lot of racing going on that night. Out for a night of fun and no longer. RIP.

Deliberately thrown off the boat is the latest rumour…

I read that she went for a pee and fell off.

The autopsy/investigation need to check where her panties were. Not wanting to be funny.

Just great.... totally Thailand: -- expired license on the boat, unlicensed driver, and no one wearing life jackets.

"Pol Maj-Gen Paisarn said today Tanupat Lerttaweewit, the owner of the speed boat, may face a charge of using a speed boat with an expired license, while another man nicknamed “Bert”, who was at the helm of the boat when Nida fell, may face a charge of driving a boat without a license.

"He said that there were life jackets on board, but none of the passengers was wearing one because they did not know where they were kept."

Hey Mr.  #$%%# -- it's YOUR and YOUR CREW's responsibility to ensure that passengers riding on your boat get the vests and are wearing them for the trip.

True to life  factors opposed to conspiracy at times come into conflict.

Is it unreasonable to consider that while there is genuine grief attributable to this woman's demise that there is also probably an imperative to establish cause of death was not suicide due to the terms and conditions of a Life Insurance Policy !

Many Life Insurance Policies  have "suicide exclusion" clauses although time limited . However this TV Star is also know to have attempted suicide before which may have implications on current Policy.

Establishing  her death was totally "accidental" overcomes that possible issue.

that was one of the misleading angles from one of the interviewed. (and they keep changing their stories).. the Police (autopsy?) have it she was wearing a i think you'd call it a jumpsuit underneath her clothes... can't pee or poo without taking that off... that 'jumpsuit' was not disturbed and there was no crotch-hole, so they now say she was not peeing or pooing

Just now Mrs heard the Police have it the Leg Cut was Not from a boat propeller, but was a knife cut

One of the Females had victims blood on her shoeheel... the one that rammed her heel on the victims hand to stop her getting back into the boat
