webfact
by Thammarat Thadaphrom BANGKOK (NNT) - The Prime Minister has met his advisor team and discussed economic woes stemming from global fuel price hike and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha instructed officials to quickly find solutions to alleviate people’s hardship from rising energy costs. These may include more subsidies for fuel, cooking gas, and power bills. General Prayut also ordered authorities to look into establishing a unit to help people manage debts, preventing them from losing essential assets, such as houses and cars. The Prime Minister said his administration is urgently expediting its mega projects, in order to increase the economic activities. These programs include initiatives in the Eastern Economic Corridors, infrastructure projects, and railways construction projects, to name a few. The advisor team also said that the government should try to maintain the Thai currency value at between 32.5 baht and 33.5 baht per US dollar, in order to keep the inflation rate at bay and maintain stability in the export sector. The administration should also consider alternative export routes, as shipping companies are now avoiding Russian and Ukrainian waters, said the advisor team. Goods will have to be rerouted through other nations in order to reach either country. The team also predicted shortages of shipping containers, and suggested the administration negotiate a transit agreement with China to mitigate the impact. The advisors also recommend exploring new shipping routes with the Eurasian Economic Union. -- © Copyright NNT 2022-03-04 - Aetna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Yet the pandemic and lockdowns required no foresight and engaging a safety net for the public, err....except those government workers and such registered which was a small percentage of the country. What this sounds like is how are they going to continue on as before with more money being taken from the trough. Pockets should feel the pinch at the hi-so level in my book. 11

Popular Post spidermike007
Prayuth has never had any sincere interest in helping the proletariat here. They are the furthest thing from his mind, unless he needed them for an upcoming election. Then, it is only a charade. By comparison, Thaksin actually did things that benefitted the masses, and the elite despised him for that. Yet, all these years later, millions still love and support him. And by comparison, Prayuth is deeply despised by all but 2% of the nation. Why? Because he is the very definition of an empty suit, he and his deeply flawed health minister allowed Covid to spread, with their highly selective economic shutdowns, and their historic vaccine failure. In addition, he has done little to nothing to help his people in their greatest time of need, and he spends his days protecting goons. I could go on. Nobody I speak with, nobody I know, no Thais I encounter support him, at this time. All is lost. Woe is Thailand with dinosaurs like these guys in charge. Prayuth and Anutin should hold a press conference immediately. We are submitting our resignations, effective tomorrow. This completely got away from us. We now realize how in over our heads we were, this entire time. We are permanently retiring from politics, as we want the nation to move forward, we have more money than we could ever spend, and now realize that with us in control, forward progress is impossible. Indeed; along with Xi, Wrong-Un, the guy in Burma, and especially Dobby lookalike Putin. The world be sooo much better for it. Yep, the best way Prayut could bring happiness to the people is by just going. 1

Andycoops
The guy and his cronies only know one thing, what's best for them. For 2 years they've done nothing for ordinary people, while government employees have received full salaries without having any work to do, teachers for example. No sacrifices from them. Arrogant incompetence at its finest.
