Putin issues list of nations that are not friendly - Thailand is not included

Putin is afraid of democratic states in his vicinity. Where the people have the opportunity to freely elect or vote out their national leaders. Putin is the head of a mafia cancer clan where 500 oligarch Dons own nearly all of the national wealth. Whoever rebels in Russia and asks where all the money from the oil and gas business has gone will be eliminated, imprisoned or poisoned. Anyone who now publicly professes "peace" will be locked away for 15 years. This is today's Russia. All the countries listed are countries where you can publicly criticize the government. No wonder that these are seen as unfriendly from the point of view of the mafia boss. Only the Russians themselves can free themselves from this bondage.

  • Countries not on the list are doing something wrong.

  • Does it really matter what he thinks? Countries with principles will not condone bullying.

Declaration of neutrality is not such a stretch as it is unlikely they will become NATO members anytime soon.

The other requirements suggest putting it to a vote or something similar for the Ukranian people to try to stop the fighting.

The fact that these options are on the table probably means Russia realise that they made a bad decision.

A compromise or similar would be a better solution than even more deaths and potential escalation of the current crisis?

The Americans  will keep pushing  the Kyiv gov to continue  fighting till the last Ukranian speaker.. Their  munitions manufacturers have too much at stake to do otherwise.  Just check out their share price increases lately. These shoulder mounted anti-tank/plane missiles go  for $100-175k per. Then there is the gas pump gouging going on even though North America is self-sufficient in oil.

You mean the US is forcing the Ukrainian govt. to accept these weapons against their will? Shocking!

I understand why Putin want to take Ukraine, it's a buffer zone with out it Moscow is only a few step away, just like the American wants to get rid of Cuba back in the day, with Russian nuke at their door step, its hard to judge why Putin wants to invade, but its also wrong to invade another country, best compromise is Ukraine should never be able to join NATO, and Putin stop his war.

Very rich in minerals.....that must have caught his eye.

And the Eagle poked the bear, who warned the Eagle who never listens but then the bear bit. The lion roared but no one was scared of him much anymore, the Eagle screamed flew about but did very little else , the snakes hissed, the elephants ran, and all the animals in the jungle were alarmed. But the panda just chewed on his bamboo and waited and waited. Because all the panda ever wants outside its home is, more bamboo.

With current capabilities of missiles and military airplanes, I am not sure a few hundred kms would really make a difference.

On top of it, There was no intent from NATO to make war with Russia, as its current reaction confirms.

Without mentioning India, only China can make the sanctions totally obsolete by buying gas and oil from Russia.

Just as the Swift financial sanctions will allow the development of competing Chinese financial services, Unionpay for international transactions.

I sincerely believe that the USA is partly responsible for this conflict by exploiting Zelensky (Pandora's papers) and by pushing NATO towards the East to isolate Russia. Unfortunately, the response is expected to be scathing and damaging to all of us. One more step towards the end of Western domination which will see its culmination in the coming years.

On the other hand, It's not difficult to understand why countries like Poland rushed to apply to NATO. The USA did not need to push hard, considering the Russian imperialism tradition towards its neighbours.

Appears that this supposed unfriendly nation[s] sensibility is very big business. The only business.

Repeated often and loud enough.

I will not visit countries like Singapore, Japan and Thailand for a while.

Which country did NATO invade by force of arms, killing innocent women and children in the process?

We have many America-haters here.  That’s OK, it takes all kinds to make it interesting.
