I'll sometimes buy corn tortillas from Makro, make my own Pico de Gallo and then by some "gai yang" on the soi, (maybe open a can of S&W Chili pinto beans from Big C) and it comes pretty close to eating at El Pollo Loco.

Chicken fried steak and best thin crust pizzas are still available in Bangkok at Madrid.
