I am hoping to get a home weather station which will need a 12 metre tower.

There will be little weight on it and it needs to be around 12 metres tall to clear the surrounding trees for the wind direction and the anemometer.

I have done a Google search but nothing seems to show up.

I am hoping to buy a home weather centre, which is why I am looking for towers.

I can probably get one made using 2 inch metal pipe, 6 metres long giving me a maximum of 12 metres, a 2 inch base plate and guy wires at the 4 and 8 metre points to anchor points with turnbuckles perhaps 3 metres away.

The anemometer will be the bit at the top which needs to clear the trees and the rest should be mounted at the base.

If it comes off I can run a ground pole as a lightning conductor, clamping it to the hast every 1 metre to a copper ground bar at the base, then run them out to 4 copper ground bars buried in the earth and interconnected.
