Mae Jo police in Chiang Mai called to the scene of a fatality found a dead man but no motorcycle.

 

Labun, 41, was the deceased and a light stand at roadworks had been damaged and fallen on him.

 

A witness said they heard the noise of a motorcycle hitting the road and saw two men on the ground and the bike on its side.

The witness called the police but by the time they had arrived on the Chiang Mai to Phrao road the rider of the motorcycle had fled the scene on the bike leaving his mate.

 

Police suspect that the rider was scared to face up to what had happened. 

 

They are seeking him, reported Daily News.

A pitch black road with roadworks on it. He wasn't even able to find a twig to warn people about the massive lightpole now spread across the road. 

At least the dead man can not extorted by the RTP. Oh......I forgot he must have family as well. . The family should sue the construction company and police for not doing their job with a dead person as a result RIP

more likely, one bike hit another with two people on it, and when they realised the guy wasn't moving they stole the bike ! Witnesses just saw aftermath.
