Telescope shop in Pattaya?

Featured Replies

I'm only in Pattaya for the next couple of weeks before I move up to Isaan.  So I left it rather late to buy this item from Lazada/China.

Is there a shop in Pattaya that sells telescopes suitable for amateur space study/projects?  I teach science to primary/high school kids, and having a telescope is certainly a good way to teach about celestial bodies etc.

Something like this:

https://www.lazada.co.th/products/70-i1504212430-s3973018819.html?search=1&spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.i40.6ce552dc4tKCak

Otherwise, I'll have to order it from Lazada when I settle in Isaan...  Thanks!

I haven't been there in a few months so I'm not sure if the kiosk is still there or not, but if you have time to stop by the Tesco Lotus on Sukhumvit and Theprasit Road, there's a kiosk downstairs that sells telescopes, binoculars, magnifying glasses.
