AAArdvark
Does Grab Car in Thailand currently accept Cash or foreign debit/credit cards? I will only be there a couple of weeks so I won't be setting up any new accounts there.
Sheryl
Definitely accept cash. I can't say re credit cards as I always pay cash.

Thailand
You will need the app to book the transport.
sqwakvfr
I paid Cash(Baht) and used my Bangkok Bank Debit. Also, I have once used my USA bank issued American Express card to purchase food once while I was in Quarantine in BKK. Since then I have deleted the AMEX from the Grab App and I presume I could have used it to pay for rides as well.
treetops
Grab acccepts both cash and foreign debit/credit cards. Bolt, which is normally better for transport IME, only accepts cash.

Their website says Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket only but I have also used them in Hua Hin, Pattaya, Sri Racha and maybe more like Nong Khai, Korat (can't remember exactly what services and where) so it's well spread out. All over though is doubtful.
