Daily News Thai Caption: Dead Motorcyclist Rides Again

Daily News reported mysterious goings on in Surin in the NE of Thailand after a motorcyclist died in a hanging wires accident.

Bunkert Phromwat, 40, died after his neck became entangled in wires on April 29th.

He has already been cremated but apparently the spirit is still restless and continues to drive around the area.

Someone pointed to his pink bike.

A relative called Surin Ninkaew, 60, said that she and others - during a drinking session - had heard the sound of the bike but saw no one on it.

She was convinced that the spirit of Bunkert had unfinished business and was concerned for him three children, wife and mother he had left behind.

Meanwhile, the cable company responsible for the wires came up with 100,000 baht funeral expenses and plan to help the family with more compensation.

Happens all the time. Busy street in Chiang Mai Around 1 PM I was coming back from eating there were lines just lying on the ground across the street for people to drive over looked like the a crew was working  in the middle of the day  workers just faffed off to go to go eat too.  No worries.  Moments later I hear a shrieking sound of heavy braking  large construction truck snagged low hanging lines hanging about 10 feet up and fortunately stopped before bringing power poles down.   The mind boggles.

One day we may all become ghost riders until they put the wires underground.

Good to read the reality that the cable company are stepping in with substantial funeral expenses and further compensation for the family.

One year I was living in teacher housing when one of the fellows drank himself to death. A Thai school coordinator had a dream that the spirit of the deceased was haunting the schoolgrounds and was hungry, so the coordinator left food out every night. Somehow the meal always got eaten.

The spirit they are talking about lurking the streets is no doubt bottles of Lao Khao

Thai teachers are a funny breed. One teacher driving to school one bright morning decided to cross the white line in the middle of the road and wipe out a motorcyclist. He died. The teachers claim, that was accepted by the courts, was that she swerved to avoid a spirit directly in front of her car. She didn't miss a day of school and was a bit of a "Legend" amongst her teacher group for having such a "strong" defense.

Just normal mumbo jumbo for Thailand.

Will find special lottery tree in same location next week.

Lucky Lucky. number time. :coffee1:

So, does that actually means that they all saw the bike riding all by itself? That´s magic!
