Phuket – Two people have sustained injuries after a motorbike was allegedly smashed into by a hit-and-run pickup truck driver on Phuket Bypass Road in the Mueang Phuket District yesterday.

 

Emergency responders were notified of the accident last night (May 12th) at 10:20 P.M. on Chaloem Phrakiat Rama 9 Road (Bypass Road) in the Koh Kaew sub-district.

 

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and found two people, a man, and a woman, lying on the road side near the damaged motorbike with various non-life-threatening injuries.

Hope some CCTV in the area will give clues to the culprit.

Hit and run seems to be a national pastime here.

He'll be easy to find because it's usually Hit and Run straight home.
